Evan Martin
Director of Advisory Services
Evan Martin is the Director of Advisory Services and has been with The Wilshire Group since 2021. He brings a wealth of Revenue Cycle and Revenue Integrity operational experience. He is a forward-thinking leader with in-depth experience cultivating teams to excel and achieve project and operational goals. His unique background allows him to work seamlessly with clinical operations, information services, and revenue cycle leaders. Resourceful, innovative, a value-add and results-driven leader.
As a former Revenue Cycle Director, Evan supported various divisions with an extensive background in revenue integrity, denial prevention, and new program development. His expertise and experience span both hospital and professional services. He has led Revenue Integrity programs in multiple large healthcare systems in the Pacific Northwest. Evan has supported 53 Epic implementations, from designing system functionality to providing at-the-elbow training and support to clinical operations. He also applies his Six Sigma training to process improvement engagements. His efforts resulted in reduced revenue leakage and improved financial outcomes for the organizations he worked with.
He is co-producing and co-hosting The Wilshire IT RevCast. The new bitesize podcast series features a fresh outlook addressing the most pressing issues and opportunities facing the RCM and Revenue Cycle IT space. Entertaining hosts Evan Martin and Daniel Bianchini will explore key topics through interviews with informative industry thought leaders, share the latest trends and best practices from conference showcases, and will be sure to bring the most relevant and talked about hot topics.
Evan received his BA in Business Administration from Saint Martin’s University and his MBA in Healthcare Administration from American InterContinental University. He is an active member of the Oregon Chapter of HFMA and lives with his family in Portland, Oregon.
